Lol TBH I would prefer it to be built in Germany! Outside of that, I'm not really across which is the better factory, or how they stack up against German built cars in terms of quality.

I know someone who has a Mk 5 golf built in SA, and he's had absolutely no issues with it.

look im not saying that any factories are worse then the other ones.
Quality control at any of these factories are the same.
Unfortunately Germany can not fit so many production plants in there, hence its all around the world.

It's a lucky dip! I got one with conti's other with dunlops! I was told that's standard across the entire range.

Hmmm is there one conti and one dunlop tyre? Or are there multiple tyres from each manufacturer?
