    Polo GTI Power Band

What's the power bracket to use when wanting to drive the car fast? (Obviously you can chuck it in S mode) but I'm on about M mode. So lowest rpm to access supercharger but not to low that it'll burn out clutch.

When does the supercharger kick in? 2000rpm? Then over to Turbo at 4500rpm? Then upto 6700rpm before switching up?

My old car was a diesel, so was used to going 2500-4500rpm bracket for the most power.

Apologies if this has been asked, couldn't find it.

i was under the impression the the super charger was on from idle to about 3.5k then the turbo to about 5-6

Afaik supercharger operates from just above idle until approx 3k rpm when it switches over to turbo, from my experience if you want to drive fast the supercharger doesn't even rate a mention, by the time you get really moving its all above the 3k rpm range and the turbo is doing all the work. What sort of more spirited driving are you referring to?

For a non tuned car, 2800-5000rpm will do nicely, in gears 3 and up the car becomes a little breathless from around 4000 up and doesn't quite pull as hard. Change over is at roughly 3200rpm depending on the car and peak boost occurs not long after that, hence the table-like torque curve
