Hi everyone after an engine replacement engine I'm still getting about 2000km before my oil light turns on. So I went back to the dealership asking about the new oil squiters. He told me that my 2012 polo GTI has the CAV engine and can not have the new oil squitter fix as it already contains that part in the first place, that the oil squitter fix is only for the CTH engine. Any truth in this?

Why would the newer engine, which was designed to fix problems with the old one need an upgrade to get the same parts as the old one? Surely that wpuld be the other way around?

hes talking rubbish, i have a cav and had the upgrade. CAR FIXED!

My14 gti. 2000km since oil jet replaced,oil at top of B on dip stick.no charge still under warranty

I did top up once 750ml after 2750km. Not sure its reflect the real daily driving though. Because the first 2000km almost no change on the dip stick. Only drop after i went for a freeway trip. I m keep an eye on it after top up.

yeah me 2. same consumption... seems it didnt stop consuming.... just alot less now, thanks

Does ur engine make a weird tickling sound when u accelerate and its cold? doesnt happen when hot
