This Italian Ibiza 150hp user just had a dyno after software update, he found the same power peak as before (if not a little higher), but a significant torque reduction at low revs.
It seems that the volumex has been inhibited...
This could confirm the theory that there is too much blow by at low rev, due to supercharger action.
Our engine has 250Nm at 2.500rpm, really so much for a 1.400cc gasoline powered...

Interesting, pointless if you get a tune though. Sounds like tail chasing to me.

If blowby is such a big issue, why they don't fit an oil return catch can type setup is beyond my comprehension.

Could I grab a link to this "load it up" theory? I cant seem to find it using search.

very weird thing happened. Just checked my engine oil and before literally a week ago the dip stick went half way now it is all the way at the top?

The way i checked it was let the oil warm up (90 degrees), turned off the engine waited for a good 5-10 mins parked it on the flat surface. Pull out the dipstick wipe it clean and do a another dip (that is putting the dip stick all the way in into its original level) then pulled it back out to examine the level. THe level is now beyond you maximum level (the dealer did the top up for me and he did say he added 1.4L into the engine (that was when the engine was dead cold got the car towed there). Is this the correct way to look at the level?

What you did, yes. The dealer however has f**ked up because the oil needs to be at temperature to be properly checked. You should also only add 500ml at a time, not 1.4L in one hit!

    So good news for me.

6,500km in and the oil issues seem to have dissapeared. It has drunk about 3L of oil before the first 6 month / 5,000kms service - but i had a consumption test done at 6,100kms and it had drunk 100mL over the last ~900km. Going back at 7,100km again for a further checkup, but so fingers crossed it stays this way. The oil spitting appears to have stopped as well.

    self healing miracle engine, GEE.

Since july 12th not used D-mode but only S-mode and ESP off, it seems that it have some effect for the oil consumption, new oil not added since 12th july. It seems that D-mode and high gears with low revs causing some problems (supercharger may create too much internal engine pressure?). Not sure but please test it you too, thanks. Anyway the car should work also in D-mode so that's not the official solution but might help with high oil consumption. My engine checked twice and nothing repaired or they just don't tell me. Oil usage measured to 0,3 litres per 1 000 km.

I don't think that has anything to do with it because when the supercharger is not being used, it switches off. in fact, unless you are using something like 30%+ throttle application, it won't even engage from a standstill so I think it is more likely just coincidence that your engine has probably just "settled down" with it's consumption. Did you happen to change oil brands in this time?

NO surprise really that the miracle pipe has not done it's thing, so I will be looking at another means as talking to an engineer of another major car company that has suffered major oil consumption issues in their v8 turbo diesels, there can be a lot of masking of the true oil consumption just by checking the dipstick. To be honest I didn't fully understand what he was saying but my basic chemistry understanding said that all that is in oil after 10,000+kms aint just oil that is making up the volume....
