Managed to get to just over 300 miles (483km) in just under a month. Nearly half way!

Hello. I did the mod with the oil jets and i dont know if it is me or not but i think the fuel consumption is a little bit higher. All of you that you did the oil jets mod have you noticed any increase in the fuel consumption?

Mine has certainly crept up over the years, but I couldn't pin it to a particular service.

Well... Got the oil squirters done about 4 months ago. Oil level didn't move till I went for a long drive ... Check before the trip was full, came back, it was almost at the bottom level. Only about 600ks of driving. So it's back in for testing.... And the creaky door are starting to annoy me...

Strangely enough, I drove to Hervey Bay from Logan City about a week ago and my oil level dropped about 200ml in the 330kms it took to get there. I topped it up and it didn't drop any coming home. It hadn't had a good highway run since the oil jets were done about 5000kms ago. I assume it was just burning the garbage out of the oil.

Finally had the breather pipe and oil jets done under warranty. I took the car in at 510 miles instead of the 621 (1000km) as i was getting worried about the car and the way it was behaving. Level was near bottom.

Hopefully it will sort the issue but only time can tell. In total the work was £523 at the local VW dealer.

My oil level went from full to min in just 1100km. Can someone tell me how many litres is that?

test it empirically, put 500ml in and see where it takes it, then add from there. I have been told its 750, but also 1L.
