    Polo GTI 6R Service Schedule

    Hi guys,

does anyone have a list of parts etc that is scheduled to be changed each service interval? The service book does not seem to have anything in it.

I am now due for 60k service

    I'd recommend:

15k - Oil and oil filter
30k - Oil and oil filter, air filter, pollen filter
45k - Oil and oil filter
60k - Oil and oil filter, air filter, pollen filter
75k - Oil and oil filter
    and so on...

Or if you want to change oil more often (as I like to):

10k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
20k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
30k - Oil and oil filter, air filter, pollen filter (major)
40k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
50k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
60k - Oil and oil filter, air filter, pollen filter (major)
70k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
80k - Oil and oil filter (minor)
    and so on...

I'm not sure when spark plugs are due on the GTIs as I deal with a TDI (no spark plugs!), but I'd assume every 60k.

Oil and filter every 15K/12 months.
    Air filter every 45K
    Spark plugs every 60K
    Fuel filter every 60K
Pollen filter is every two years, but usually works out to be every 30/60/90, etc. Same goes for brake fluid.

Those are the correct VW intervals.

    Thanks Guys!

Does anyone know which type of sparkplug fits the twincharger engine? NGK Australia do not seem to have a listing..

Should be 03C905601A, but I think that number has been superceded.

Thanks again btw is it hard to get to the plugs? Reading on other forums it seems there is a need to use a specialized tool for removing the coils? VW tool T10094A

You can buy an eBay copy of it without too much trouble.
