Coil packs should be fine as long as the engine is low-ish km's on it. The only aftermarket coil packs im aware of for the Polo GTI are about $250-300 each which is simply ridiculous.

All the parts have been ordered, will make a video of the finished product and sound. It'll be the down-pipe (de-cat) after this. The air filter is an over sized Tirol filter (can be oiled) with no end cap so looks like it'll give an extremely high amount of flow (if it fits, fingers crossed, it's quite long)

Parts total including shipping was bang on $370 so far cheaper than any pre built kit, and I do believe this setup will be much more beneficial than almost all/any pre engineered build.

A question one of you may know, the forge diverter valve (the engineered, non BOV FMFSITATfor these engines) and up-rated coil packs, is it worth it/needed before a custom tune? Or is it just the intake and down-pipe that are the real limiting factors?
