Polo Centre Console Clip Catch

I picked up the car from service and only noticed the broken clip a week later! Damn!

I'm pretty sure it was from sending it to service as it was fine before. I cant prove this though so have to get a clip to replace.

Unfortunately the stuff on eBay is for Mk4 Polo, I wonder if it'll fit my 2010 1.6 tdi?

eBay = a few bucks

dealership for a whole new centre console = $340! as they dont sell the clip.

I could not find any clips from wreckers or parts shops. They all wanted me to buy the whole centre console also. I've ended up purchasing quite a few clips of eBay and aliexpress. I say a few as they are all crap. They do keep the lid closed but are painful to open and end up breaking. I just don't use the centre console anymore in my polo. I'm certain that the clip is the same between the models if you wanted to give them a go.
