    Oooh Oooh Oooh, another tuner has finally fully released a GTI tune, this is from the UK, don't know if they are based in Oz at all though...

    Just to add, it looks like their dyno is reading high, one of the guys on UK Polos who has this tune was bang on factory claims on his dyno run and the tune was the same percentage increase...

    Wow, pretty impressive figures Dyno indicates 170Kw, holy crap. What's happening with Guy and APR?

    Revo Technik have been around for ages.
    Those figures are engine dyno of course (as is expected), not wheel dyno. They seem to be favoring killerwasps at the expense of torques though...

    Yeah, though with the GTI motor already apparently maxing out the torque limit on the gearbox, probably not such a bad thing... Thanks Joe, didn't really look before posting

    You know that the 6sp DSG in the Golf has a 350Nm rating? As does the 6sp manual in the Golf. And you know that people are running around with 500Nm+ in both right?
    So 250Nm to 320Nm in the Polo GTI on the 7sp DSG is well within its "headroom" - especially since there is no launch control.

    Additionally, you don't get 320Nm of torque in the APR and other tunes from "idle", it starts exceeding the stock torque around 1750rpm and peaks around 2800rpm - which means again, you're not going to be taxing the gearbox.

    Now thing about where you do most of your driving?
    between 1750 and 3000rpm, or at the redline?
    I know what I'd rather!

    Ok, another lunch searching for polo goodies...

    might be worthwhile going for these as an upgrade after destrying the original tyres...

    But was thinking of getting one for the GTI, until i saw this pic, it doesn't seem to fit right....
