Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way a mechanic or privileged to Volkswagen's service bullitens etc. So it might be 100% fine. But if it were my new Polo TDI, I'd be wanting to make sure before I went using my car as the "pilot tester"!

Don't get me wrong, but if you were going to bother "upgrading" a sound system, you may as well upgrade to something good. Especially in the case where you were going to pay someone to do the work for you, cause the labour would cost more than these parts!

Just did some review searching they are the main competitors to Rockford Forsgate, a US designed and made product.

Will dig deeper and find out more, but with work piling up it may be nearly a week before i come with more info.

Does this CU support OPS? I heard the one for GTI is 6R0919475B, what's the difference with the other?

Was doing a search on ebay and found that you can get numerous led lights to replace all interior original lights to bright leds as well as the number plate ones.

Had a look at my Polo GTI 6R license plate lights and the ones you mention won't fit as the housing assembly is different. Unless there is a way of disassembling the OEM one? or cutting wires?

There are some OEM LED number plate lights available now on some models of Golf VI

Just google the part number 1K8943021B for some pictures of them.

If your stock ones are Part number 1K8943021, then they should be interchangeable - compare the pics you find to your originals

Just a word on the OEM LED number plate lights... it's the same with the Golf as well. They come standard now with Xenon optioned cars.

BUT! and why I'm posting here. They cause errors on some cars, and thus far no one has found a solution in VCDS. See the Golf thread here.
