Well if you want to fork out $2,500 i got it quoted via Genuine parts this includes the washer system in the front bumper.

Not a bad price i am thinking about doing this mod.

(Note you need to get the VIN # of the polo GTI then VW genuine parts will search for that as the VW polo TSI search engine doesn't come up with a part or part number)

This also includes the rear bumper of the Polo GTI you can't just ring up and say oh i want to get a quote on the Polo GTI bumper, you will need a VIN number so they may be able to search it under the database.

The RNS510 is only for the Golf models and above... I think the Golf 1.2 TSI doesn't come with it as well.

Polo 1.4 comes with RCD 210 and 1.2TSI with the RCD 310.

Honestly, RNS 510 doesn't realise its full potential with our basic MFD. On the models withe the full digital MFD, you get directional signs and road names with the GPS!

Placed an order for the ABT Rear Centralised Exhaust, and rear diffuser after much research it is shown to reduce rear drag and actually provide better down force, the exhaust is apparently a performance boost (does not effect the famous BLURT CLUB)

lol... I know what a "rear diffuser" does, but it's a bit of a stretch to call the "rear valance" on a Polo (or even a Golf R) a "rear diffuser" - especially since the section in front of the valance isn't flat, or sealed, to guide the air onto the "diffuser".

Do you have a link to the info where you have found it provides better downforce and reduced drag?

I went to see my dealer today to discuss dealer fitted options seeing as my delivery date is getting close, unfortunately I got a few surprises. Firstly, I was told the towbar option is $1,600 and the rear parking sensors don't intergrate with the standard car at all. So I have some questions:

Has anyone got a quote for a towbar on the new Polo? Does this price reflect what you have been told?

Does anyone have the OEM Polo dealer fitted parking sensors fitted? If so, any pictures or information about its operation would be greatly appreciated. I understand that sometimes the OEM Golf system is fitted instead of the Polo system because of cost; but I am not sure whether this is the reason that is doesn't intergrate.

Can anyone tell me what the led on the rearview mirror does? Does this have anything to do with reversing sensors or is it something else?

    Thanks!

The LED in the rearview mirror indicates that the auto-dimming feature is turned on. You can turn it off by pressing the button on the base of the mirror.

there is no link there is the information provided to me from Ramspeed in Seven Hills who most likely spoke to the ABT guys about it.

So no actual link to provide as it was all over the phone (I have rung up so many times since i bought the car {Late September} to get the information as the ABT website doesn't provide any clear details of what the kit actually does/does not provide.)

Yeah - the rear "diffusers" in Polo's and Golf's are just for show. They're not real. I'm not sure if there is any car under $100k with a real one.... maybe the cheaper Lotus Elises or something.

So if it makes your car look better, then great... but don't buy something like that for "performance increases"
