Was doing a search on ebay and found that you can get numerous led lights to replace all interior original lights to bright leds as well as the number plate ones.

Mad, I am considering getting the dealer fitted reverse parking sensors installed; if you could post a picture of your back bumper and show me what they look like it would be greatly appreciated [We ordered the same colour and model as you]. By the way do you have the RCD510? If so, were they able to hook up the sensors to give you a picture like comes on the ones that were factory fitted.

By the way, I don't think the drawers add any height to the seat as the ones without them fitted still have the cavity for them to be installed, they just have a blank plates stuck at the front.

Why reversing sensors on a Polo? Doesn't strike me as big enough to warrant them. (Note: I've recently been driving a Suburban in the USA and can see why you'd need it on a BIG car).

Wonder if they can be ordered/retrofitted? My wife's Peugeot 307 Touring has them. Very hand for some stuff. Especially with a sticky mat on the bottom to stop things sliding.

I have the RCD510, so when you engage reverse it shows a picture of the rear of the car and the distance each individual sensor is away from an object.

The RCD510 is excellent and so easy to use.

This is my complaint the reversing sensors dont hook up to anything other than a $2 box wired to the reverse light thats it, they do not connect to the canbus or the RCD, the beep sound is not directional IE not to the side were the sensor is close to an object, it is just a beep in the left hand rear corner only no matter which sensor is detecting an object, there for i dont believe this so called Genuine system could connect to the canbus or rcd for any processing, the real genuine sensors do connect to the can bus and if the right numbers are enabled in the software I believe will give the display on the RCD, this is the only VW i have ever been in that has this single beep system which is why i am questioning if its genuine VW, (we only have the rcd310 but still should be able to connect to it)

will add pics when i learn how

I noticed that in Great Britain you can now option the Bi-Xenon lights (as per the GTI) onto Standard Polo's! When will we get this here?

    I completely doubt it.
In the UK you've been able to option them on standard Golf's for ages... yet they've never been available here. Can't see it happening on a Polo before it happens on a Golf.
There are many, many, options and stuff available on overseas models which we don't get here!
