Polo 77TSI seat too much lumbar support

    Hi

I'm loving everything else about the car but am finding that the lumbar support is a bit too high.

I hadn't noticed it over test drives etc but it's becoming a bit of an issue in my commutes to work. Has anyone had similar issues or have any suggestions?

FYI I've got a bit of a chronic lower back sensitivity.

    Much appreciated.

Kind of a las resort, but I'm assuming you have the highline seats? Maybe you can "downgrade" the seats to trend/easyline seats, they have less lumbar support

Maybe you can find someone willing to trade interior with?

Can't think of anything else at the moment..

I had uncomfort too when I first got the car. Try setting the seat a bit higher than usual and fiddling with the positioning of the steering wheel

Ok thanks. Yeah I'll keep fiddling with the position I guess to get to some position that's tolerable. It gets quite painful on some days.

The best position that I've found to date has me reclined back too far IMO. It's like driving a bed

Hmm yeah ok. The back seats might be a bit more difficult to swap out! I think that I will look into some Recaro seats or something.
