Strange lot those dealers. My dealer fixed the issue straight away...no questions asked...

I would have thought LHD and RHD were more or less the same under the bonnet, oh well Hope swapping the lines out still works for you

It's ok PoloDave, the link you posted was correct, it's the same side of the car as mine but as I said as the years go on for a production car, quality standards and revisions to the assembly of the car can see parts be put in better places (or worse) to help fix small problems like this.

I guess that in this case it doesn't matter what they change. The fact that unprotected pipes lie inside a metal rail means they will rattle when in the wrong position.

I have moved mine around a bit so I will see how they go in the morning.

    Thanks for the help

Since swapping over the two lines this morning I have not had any more rattles (2 x ~20km trips) fingers crossed it stays that way.

In this link I described the solution on the dutch forum. Move the line from clamp A to B and it should be fixed. I never heard it again.

best way is to tilt the fuel lines, some healthy force may ne nessessary as the clips are pretty firm. You can also use a screwdriver to make it a bit easier while tilting the fuel line

quite hard, but thats ok, I found cable ties to keep the tube in place works just as well without requiring the move.

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

the diagram for where they are and where to move it to?

Ill try and dig it up but mine still rattles.. I need to get in there and wrap the fuel line in some electrical tape or something so it sits snugly in the retainer...
