I'd say the technician was in a rush to write up his report to bother with a lengthy explaination as to why your car is behaving the way it does.

Either way, they've found a problem, and they're going to sort it out.

I wouldn't going throwing Friday/Monday/Siesta car terms around just yet. These cars are built in modular fashion. The DSG, for all we know, was probably built 3 months before, in an entirely different country.

The trim, sure. Some QC issues there. But from where? Does the car have aftermarket tint?
