The Polo 6R Spotted Thread

I'd just been thinking how rare (and privileged) we Polo owners are, when a week ago a Pepper Grey passed me in Canberra. I had to do a double take and make sure I wasn't in our people mover watching my wife go by. Nope - it was a fellow dubber. Then this Saturday I took the kids to Maccas for a treat (playground for them, vanilla late for me) and decided to treat the Polo to a car wash, and low and behold we pulled in behind a red TDi waiting to get it's wash down treat.

I saw a grey TDI at Bracken Ridge Plaza on Tuesday. Starting to see them more and more often now. It must mean ours are coming!

Seen quite a few GTI's rolling around in Brisbane -_-

Even the one i was told wasnt being sold (Dealership Demo) and low and behold, sold sign on it when i went in to get the wipers fixed

I think when the loan is done and dusted for mine, GTI (or the R if the Rumours are true) it shall be!!!

Still haven't seen a single GTI on the roads yet so I will continue to feel better than everyone else on the roads until I see one. that is until I pull up next to a golf R and get jealous...

Was driving home the other day following a new white golf GTI had a silver TSI polo behind me.

It seems to be brown is the coolest new colour according to the German manufacturers. Think BMW's new X1 (in it's release marketing campaign, the car was always brown). And it's seems to be taking off in Sydney's affluent Eastern Suburbs, from the number I've seen.

I mean, brown? Really? I'll admit it's a nice metallic finish, but it's still brown...

Could be worse I suppose - can't forget those horrid fluoro colours Holden and Ford were in love with only a few years ago.

What on earth is the cross polo? It's freaking ugly, that's what it is. I didn't mind the Savanna yellow, but that bright orange with all that black, plus that huge chrome bit on the front......eek

There's another pepper grey polo with sports pack that must only live a few streets away from me because I keep seeing it wen I'm on my way to and home from work and intact on sunday after washing pepper I went to the shops and coincidentally there it was with the only free park right next to it, bet the owner saw double wen they came out haha
