    Polo 6C Suspension, handking upgrades

    Guys,

I am after advice to get my gti to steer. handle, a bit nicer and reduced the wheel spin on corner exit. I do not want to lower it to silly low levels as i am only looking for performance improvement and not the dumped look. Has anyone play ed with the MY16 suspension. How does changing the setup affect the sport more that firms the ride up. Is this done in the shocks and not the springs? Do the golf gti wheels fit on the pol gti?

Basically any advice on improving the ride and handling would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    JB

My suggestions, a rear swaybar to limit the diagonal weight transfer, increase the caster with offset inner rear front control bushes to increase the inside front tyre contact patch and add around 1 mm of toe out to the rear to make the turn in faster so you can wind off the lock earlier. Modify the corner exit by apexing later so as to give straighter exit. More sophisticate damper valving would also help as the OE shocks have slightly too much low speed bump. For the same reasons avoid simplistic shocks with increased low speed bump.
