Unhappy Please help me for vcds

    Hi All

Just wondering if anyone in the northern beaches area of Sydney can help to do the vcds coding on my polo GTI ?

I just want to turn off the DRL light and also i changed the low beam bulbs from few weeks ago and i can see the bulb monitoring symbol from the dashboard. so i would like to turn off that as well.

Wondering if someone local has the canbus cabling/ software and might be interested in some amber ale to compensate for their time

    Cheers

    He/She advised as follows :
The authority for this is ADR 13/00, noting clause 8.14.1 which indicates daytime running lamp(s) are optional:
4.2. Where the fitment of a lamp is indicated as optional, this means that it is not mandatory to fit the lamp, but if fitted, the lamp(s) are required to comply with this standard.

    8. Where the installation of a lamp is indicated as optional, this means that it is not mandatory to fit the lamp, but if fitted, the lamp(s) are required to comply.

Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is on-line, in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the expertise of the wider forum! Thank you.

    Interesting. thx

Either the Octavia or the Superb has a parking light that is made redundant when DRL LEDs are fitted. I know some people have had issues because there is a bulb fitted ex-factory and it doesn't work.
