    Passat steering wheel on Polo?

Can anyone tell me if the steering wheel off my B7 Passat will fit on the new Polo. Just that I got flappy paddle wheel for the Passat, and as the Polo is base model with nothing, thought it might be nice to put the original wheel off the Passat onto the Polo. At least then we get stereo and MFD controls on the wheel, plus much nicer feel. Otherwise anyone want a Passat wheel?

Won't work, the full multi-function wheels require the highline MFD as well as the new wiring harness, along with the programming etc. These cars don't have a generic wiring harness anymore, each model has it's own harness these days, specific to what is needed as per that model.

Only Steering wheel known to actually working with the correct wiring looms, harness, coding etc is the Golf GTI or Polo GTI steering wheel.

Works fine on my TSI but im guessing you have the base model

My advice though is stay clear from that option it can be very costly, i love having a flappy paddle on my car now hehe...just expensive

WOn't work regardless because of the instrument cluster, it's completely different coding between the highline and regular instrument cluster. If you were to install a UK spec GTI wheel with the paddle shifts but NO stereo / MFD control buttons, it MIGHT work, don't expect the conversion to be easy though.

    Sorry.
