Ummm.. That IS the problem that some GTI owners are experiencing.

Silver Polo GTI came into the dealership (Osb Prk) mid last week.... rang them up as nearly bought a japanese automobile, they said they have one in... 5dr - went in the next day and oops. Bought it!

It was ordered by some lady, they called her said it's in - she said moving to UK! I didn't want the person who was coming in that arvo to buy it! haha

Basically a stock GTI Polo... no climate control or auto headlights... I'll miss those on my current stupid french car (don't ask) but for tax purposes I get it on Jan 3! Only now 13 days til the key is in my hand! Soo.. best place to service it?

    Agreed.

As suggested, I went to the dealer recently to ask about a certain function, since I could not find the answer in the manual. The service foreman didn't know what I was talking about. Came out to the car to inspect it himself, but clearly didn't know the answer. He then spent 20 minutes going through the manual looking for the answer that I already told him was not there.

What a waste of time. I should have posted the question here, instead.

In his defense, by the time I picked the car up later that day, he had found the answer. I was impressed he actually remembered and took the time. If I had gone in JUST to ask the question, though, I would have been disappointed.
