sorry guys, I know how long most of you have been waiting for your cars and I feel your pain. I was lucky to have a cancelled order for a fully spec'd including leather seats and sunroof come in at the time I was looking and I snapped it up. I feel guilty typing this knowing yall have waited so long. But it will be worth the wait. I didnt want sunroof or leather seats initially but im glad I have them. Especially the sunroof really looks nice open.

I know how you feel man! After calling every dealer in AUS i managed to find the exact spec GTi i wanted with an ETA of the next week! :O

to me the car is flawless seriously from drive to interior its perfect. i can only imagine the GTI! keeping it under 3000rpm at the moment is tough lol

At least I won't have that fight with my fiance. He's 6'4" and built like a brick $hithouse - when he got behind the demo model at the dealership, it was very squishy so it will be a more comfortable ride as the passenger, not the driver. What a pity ...... for him that is!

Edit: Oops, meant behind 'the wheel' of the demo model, not behind the demo model. Although that's one way to stop him driving it, by backing the Polo over him LOL

Yes I definitely have a height and size advantage over my loved one, but shes got a razor sharp tongue and steely eyed look that let's me know (quite clearly) what she's thinking. So when it's time for her take 77kw out for a drive...I'll have the car prepped and drive swept before she can say "monkey grip darling?"
