Personally I can never embrace the idea of using diff manufacturers wheels on a car. Never think it's "right". Having said that, I do think one of the more current Subaru's STI wheels (gunmetal with multi-spokes) looks very nice and should even be able to fit on Polo easily (maybe)...I know they are also 5x100 in size only..

Champion Hail22, I like that Vortex wheel indeed. However, I am still leaning towards more "racy" style rim, probably because of 15 years of Best Motoring influence here~lol..great show though, great show...

And while i was browsing your suggestion. I saw the size of 17x7.5 & offset +35. What do you guys think about that offset (10+ less) with 0.5 inch more width? What difference would that make on car's handling feel comparing to +45 offset?

Considering standard vw rims are 7" +46 your chosen rim and offset will give you and extra 12mm extra track width (6mm either side) and push the fronts approx 10mm further to your front fenders and will sit pretty flush with 215 tyres. Good choice in width and offset if you ask me. Therefore, your track width will increase by approx 16mm front & rear.

Actually Mate, TRACK will be increased by 22mm total using a +35 rim (11mm difference per side). Track doesn't have anything to do with the width of a rim, just the offset.

Would these fit on a TSI considering off-set and width?
