Not in the TSI Gavs, heard rumours that it can be activated by VW when being serviced in the mfd menu (on the window wiper stick).

yeah when i couldnt find the coolant temp on mine when i first got the car, it made me a sad panda... But will be good if they enable that... (originally thought the ambient temperature display was the coolant... <<)

But been eyeing off those Podi gauges to add one in, but they dont make one for the Polo... maybe some point in the future hopefully...

Noooooo no pod xD lol jk mate do what you like, well my service is on the 22nd of September and all my warranty needs/wants are going to be carried out including the request if they can make the oil temp show up via the MFD dongle.

Glad you guys are also unimpressed by the lack of the temp. gauge. ....
Checked the manual and it has 2 diagrams - one with temp and fuel gauges, the other without (both direct you to p. xxx and then the manual goes on about what's an unacceptable level, the special coolant vw use, etc. etc.) Maybe the 2010 version had the gauges, but 2011 doesn't?...
Never mind. As long as there is a possibility of some indication that things aren't as they should be BEFORE warning lights start going off.
If anyone finds out for certain, that the function CAN be programmed into the MFD, would be useful to know. Not the most clever thing VW has done.
But having had my gripe, it's still a lovely set of wheels.

I don't think so, only the Highline MFD which is fitted to the comfortline and GTI has the full myriad of functions available to it
