    Wherin lies the beauty of the OE ones that change from LHD to RHD with a click on a mouse....

    That picture is just like the diagram, see how the light angles up on the left side for each beam? In a Left Hand Drive car that'd be the mirror oposite. So if you use Left Hand Drive lights in a Right Hand Drive car then you'll annoy oncoming drivers.

    So when buying headlamps from Left Hand Drive countries (basically all of europe except UK) you need to make sure you're getting Right Hand Drive lights for your RHD car.

    Changing bulbs doesn't effect it. If the angle seems odd after changing a bulb, check to see if the bulb holder is locked in properly.

    Nah that explains it fine mate thanks.

    So it appears mine are correct, for the way I was looking at it was more that there is less visibility on the right hand side for the driver... which is why it didn't make sense. However you say it's for the on coming traffic then this makes sense.

    Thats a real bummer then. Just have to wait and see.

    this is why I steered you away from the factory setup, because of all the alterations to software coding (hence the mouse reference) that needed to be done. The factory systems are coded into the ecu and to alter the lights positions is as simple as clicking the mouse button between lhd and rhd countries. Then you adjust then and redo the home position in the software.

    OE is Original Equipment, aka factory.

    I understand your cause Gavs, thats for sure. One of my friends told me how he put HID ballasts in his standard Swift lights, I cringed at the thought. Saw him driving along the local drag on the other side and the fool damn near blinded me. Guess I'll have to try and break it him to softly that his lights are dangerous (and just look silly).

    So what your saying is that these are a better option, if they had an rhd avaliable?

    For sure, but stick to the OE copies, the saggy-eye looking ones look terrible

    Have emailed off to Dayline in regards to whether there will be a RHD set of the OE copies, will post up here when i have an answer.

    Still half tempted to get a set and CAD up a new cutoff to suit...

    Totally agree with you here... I got an email today from a guy saying that this guy does complete kits... I'm waiting to hear on cost... I expect $2000+ lol
