    Not so car savvy bloke wanting opinions

    G'day all,

    Some of you may have read earlier that I'm an owner of a 2011 1.4L Polo GTI. Now, I'm not so smart when it comes to cars and the numbers nor what parts do what specifically.

    If you were to ask me about a mod and what's best, I'd probably point to the one costing the most $$$.

    My question to you all is what mods would you suggest I carry out first? As far as I am aware, the car is stock standard still.

    Ps: I am on my red P's if that makes much difference.

    Cheers,
    Toby.

    Assuming Red P = NSW then you need to be careful what mods you do.

    My list
    *98ron - allways
    * Fit the stickiest tyres you can buy.
    * Lightweight rims
    * New dampers - Koni Sports Yellows work really well

    Likewise, if Red P = Victoria then performance mods are illegal so stick with Brad's advice

    talk to your insurance company and ask them if any will void your insurance and if there will be any increase in premium.

    No insurance obligations or issues with any of my suggestions providing you stay within OEM sizing & the local dept of transport guidlines.
