    Did you take photos before removing them? Take them to the dealer and demand a firm explanation, and confirmation that this wouldn't do any long term damage to your car.

    I didn't take photos but I have kept the stoppers to show them because i definitely want them to check the car over! My brother just recently started working for Toyota in their pre delivery department so I had a look (based on my curiosty from the recent feedback on this forum) and called him over to see if how easy they would be to take off! They were that easy its silly they were missed in the first place!

    I'd like to say i am surprised but I'm honestly not. You are not the first customer to have this happen.

    Get it in writing, I don't believe that it will cause damage but you never know, there might be metal fatigue that has started to set in with the stiffness in the springs....

    Look on the bright side though, your dampers are still going to be fairly new

    It's appalling they missed that. It could quite have easily led to an accident at some time in the future.
