    No Car Matts?

Hey, just wanted to thank Vince at Liverpool for ruining my sisters experience buying her first ever new car.

She gets in and there are no car matts? Like WTF man. I dont care what peoples opinion on this topic is, so If you feel another way, simple, keep it to yourself.

I on the other hand are extremely disappointed. She was very keen on this car, and worked very hard to buy it.

How about you tone it down? It's somehow hard to believe that a bit of missing carpet can ruin a new car buying experience.

When I bought a brand new Toyota, I didn't get car matts either... so not really sure coming on here and "naming and shaming" a dealer is really in good taste.

    Overdramatic much??
I guess like most women her life is ruined, how about we start a fund to raise the $50 for the mats. If that's the type of thing that makes life unbearable....well, do I need to go on

Car mat's are an optional extra, i thought that was common knowledge around here.....
Almost all the time you can get them thrown in for free as part of the negotiation.
Otherwise they will be on ebay for between $50 and $100, no big deal really.

Did you try speaking with the dealer, normally that will resolved the problem. 3yrs ago I bought my new vw and there was a scratch on the climate control, I pointed out and they didn't do anything and I lived on and sold the car without effecting the resale value.

If I were you I'd speak to the dealer, they might organize a special deal or something....

Its the standard Tint, Mats, Fabric and Paint protection that makes them the cream on the sale. Why would you assume the mats would be included unless they were negotiated as part of the deal.

Whilst it would be nice to have the mats included I can understand why they are not, i.e. upsale for the dealers; what I can't understand is the cost of the mats, I can't be 100% sure on the cost I was quoted for genuine mats but it was over $300. We ended up getting the leatherette; that option includes the carpet mats.

$300 is a bit high. I want to try the rubber mats in the rear (two messy kids).
