    2010 Polo Fog Lights

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know if the fog lights for the new 6R Polo can be fitted after delivery?
I assume all the wiring is there as the headlight switch still has the fog light setting on it.
So is it just a matter of buying the lights and fitting them?
Has anyone done this to their Polo?

    Thanks in advance!

If its for a trendline i was told by the dealer when i bought my car it was not an available option for the trendline and the wiring is not there to fit them. In saying that looking closely you could fit the genuine foglights, mounts and trims and wire them up yourself but not sure how the dealer would treat any warranty issues you have in the future with lighting etc.

The Polo Comfortline Headlight switch only has the fog light symbol for the rear fog lights. Does not display the symbol for fog lights on the front. Is the trendline the same or is there 2 fog light symbols?

GTi Crow - The trendline only has one symbol for fog lights and you pull the swith up to switch on the rear Fog light (is this the same in the comfortline?) if so how do you switch on the front fog lights?

I had a good look at mine today and there is no wiring there for front foglights so it would require a complete wire up.

Sorry Roxy dont mean to hijack your thread but Front Fog lights is something i want, but really dont want to hack up the factory wiring loom and switch.

For the standard Comfortline - yes it is the same, as they do not have front fog lights. For the Comfortline with sports pack which has front fogs there is 2 symbols on the headlight switch and the switch can click out more than one position to allow for using the different fogs. So not only wiring but a different headlight switch would be needed.
