having a look under the bonnet, there is no water seal on the left or right of the engine bay.

in normal rain wouldn't see a issue, but if rain was heavy enough water can easily go all over the battery and wiring.

going to put water seals to stop water getting in and bring it up at service.

could be more a issue of badly designed sealing rather than other issue.

Have about you don't stop where water cascades onto your car "like a waterfall"

So my 3rd set of clutches were installed on Friday and after extensive testing they're are still not right so I'm getting a whole new DSG.

They aren't sure what is causing the issues but it could be something around the control module (aka all the global issues they are having with the 7spd DSG).

Wonder how long the new box will last?????

Burwin. They been great to deal with. The only issue is that it will be nearly two weeks off the road by the time i get it back and since owning the car (14 months) by then it will have spent near 5 weeks off the road with various issues.

I am having a small problem with my 2 month old Polo.

In lower gears, if Engine RPM goes above 2000, on pressing clutch, I feel pulsations/vibrations. One day while driving, there was a ghrrrr/khhhhrrr sound from below and this issue exists since then.

Secondly, car jerks slightly while taking off from start. Is it a clutch problem?

My clutch never slips and my FE is very good.

Sounds like a master cylinder issue. Back to the dealer my friend an replicate the problem.

Driving about today, the lightbulb (!) warning light light lit up. Got out, looked for the blown bulb, couldn't find anything. Switched the car off, back on again, no warning light. Anyone had this?
