VW must be pretty good dealers to do an apprenticeship with. With other makes you would only learn to fit accessories and change filters, the occasional timing belt. Getting to do engines, clutches and gearboxes would be pretty special.

And here I was thinking you were taking the p!ss re. VW's various quality issues....

And again tonight at 60kp/h and 100kp/h the car studdars and feels all shaky. Haven't had time to take the car back to dealer ... How do go getting a new god damn car?! Engine change 1 done but still issues???? I say engine wasn't replaced! Anyone have ideas on how to approach this as well as Consumer Affairs and me working in the media?

I don't know how to approach this problem there in Australia, but for sure I'd write an email to the following address, explaining every detail, they usually answer quickly and they will assing you a ticket #

after 30.000 kilometers yesterday i replaced the dual clutch dsg transmission. the problem was at the 2 gear has vibrations.
the damage was on garandi.

The laws have gotten easier for consumers with 'lemon' products!

Getting the same issue with 1st to 2nd, to 3rd in slow corners...don't worry I know Chatswood will look after me and change it...otherwise i will be opening a case with consumer affairs and the ombudsman.

Just been to the dealer and service people:

Fault in the Purge flow

Software upgrade is needed which will take approx two hours or less so I'm bringing it back on Monday for them to do.

Also Oil level is perfectly fine in the new engine. Problem only as written above.

Car is jerking in idle, doing 60/90 and 100kph and it's ridiculous! Hope this update will fix the issue next week!!

Had my Polo looked at in the last few days about a idling problem. Apparently there was a recall notice about a idling issue. Had it for a few hours, carried out a codec upgrade but found nothing else. Simple wait and see if the problem returns.

I have been having this annoying rattle especially on Cold start usually happens when in D2 or changing to D2 and Driving at a speed of about 20-25 KM/hr. Been to the Dealer numerous times every time I have been told its fixed. The recalls / updates have been done. The most annoying thing is that the last time the dealer said the issue is normal apparently its the ABS pump engaging and it occurs with another car they have tested.

If I drive the car in Manual or Sports mode this rattle does not occur.

Anyone having same issue or any ideas
