The photo shows the cornering light illuminated, not the fog light. If it is on even without the indicator or steering wheel then it must be some sort of electrical problem. I'd see your VW dealer and get them to look at it.

Pretty sure those bottom lights are the foglights as they dont flash or illuminate when I turn the blinkers on

    Thanks

Edit:Never mind I read the manual, very weird feature

the bluetooth should come on instantly without waiting. Having said that, mine has remained sleeping maybe 3 times in the 18 months I have had it. Its still my least favorite feature of the car. I've never questioned it at the dealer.

Such a piece of junk. I was glad the day I disabled it and fitted an RCD510 to use instead. Money well spent.

The loan tsi I had while my gti was being worked on had this.

I mentioned it and they said a lot of them do it and its something to do with a batch equipment from the supplier.

Half way to home today, catalyic converter light flashing then epc light on. Car lost power and shaking, more during idle.
Look up here, can be anything from spark plug pistons to engine replacement. What should i expect?car can still drive but now wont touch it until drive to dealer this friday.1km away.
Any thoughts what should i expect?

Someone else had this a while ago and I think from memory it was a dodgy sensor. If it's under warranty just let the vw hacks sort it and let us know, if it's not, pray for just a dodgy sensor or faulty plug

Yesterday I dropped my car off at VW to have the clutches inspected before the warranty expires. I picked it up later that afternoon only to discover my trip meter had an extra 70+km on it. WFT?!

Today I get a customer service call from a lady asking if the car is running ok since picking it up. I politely informed her that I hadn't yet been for a proper drive in order to give a true assessment...but I was a little surprised the trip meter had clocked up an extra 70 odd kms. She agreed with my sentiment, thought it was odd and offered to pass this information onto the service manager.

Should I be concerned about this and take it further? Surely 70kms of joy driving is not required to properly asses the whether or not the clutches are cactus.
