Buy a lotto ticket, and thanks for giving hope there's a VW dealership that makes the customer happy! How long do you have to wait for the replacement though?

Traction control doesn't normally cut power to zero, i felt like, in a manual car, going flat out, clutching in for 1 second then letting go of the clutch. Very uncomfortable. I have launch harder and faster in first before without experiencing this. I have tried to replicate it, and it does not happen again.

It does pretty much kill all boost for a second or two. I tend to drivr with it activated off in traffic

Must be new programming because in my GTI, it's still boosting when the light is flashing...

Got my drivers side fixed not long ago. They replaced the seat base and now its not squeaking anymore but a few days ago my passenger seat started squeaking!

When replacing the seat base though they werent so nice when taking the chair out/putting it back in. Found a huge gouge down to the metal and another nick in my driver side door sill!

Ok so this isn't really a problem but I sure think it may be addressing a problem...

Was reading the paper today and there was a write up on the new Audi A3. I was very surprised to see the 1.4T petrol motor with 103km / 250nm is pared to a 7 speed dry clutch DSG - when the 1.8T petrol motor 132kw / 250nm is pared to the 6sp wet clutch. Same tourqe but two different gearboxes...I wonder why

I doubt the KW has anything to do about it considering that the clutches should be fully engaged at 5000~rpm when max power is achieved.

I wonder if they have started making the transition back to the wet clutch gearboxes...good news for the next polo GTI I guess

The FWD 1.8T has the 7 speed - FWD is limited to 250Nm
The AWD 1.8T has the 6 speed DSG - the AWD has 280Nm

Picked up the replacement GTI today. Build date June 2013, Compliance Plate August 2013. Same spec, same colour and they swapped the rego plates over so everything was very easy. The dealer claimed that it was an MY14 model rather than a MY13.5 model but I can't find anything to confirm or deny that.
    Gone: Aug 2013 Build MY14 Polo GTI | Candy White | RNS510 | Panoramic Sunroof | Bi-Xenons | Rear Parking Sensors
Current: Late March 2015 Build Mk7 Golf GTI Performance Pack | Pure White

Have taken my car for DSG recall and ended up having a heap of other problems being wither fixed or replaced.
    - DSG Recall replacement of mechatronics
    - New clutches ordered
    - Small squeek which occurs sometimes during acceleration which is apparently the water pump so they have ordered a new one for replacement
    - oil consumption test
    - EPC light would come on and go into limp mode. Was advised they have replaced a few sensors.
and a heap of smaller warranty problems that ive forogtten already but im waiting to get a report of what was replaced once i book in to have the clutches and water pump replaced.
