Very likely. He posted in another thread to say he'd just had a paint rejuvanation and paint protection done...

not sure why you'd be wanting to do rejuvanation on a brand new car, unless it was already scratched up by dealers (or unless final detail are a little over ambitious on their "package names") but hey!

    Hi Corey,
Interested to know what you would recommend as a treatment on a new car? Any advice would be useful PM me if you like.

Yes was done at final inspection, and did the rejuvenate as there were very minor swirl marks on bonnet and slight off discolor on rear boot. But work has evened it all out back to better than new.

They seem like a pretty good mob by all accounts Gambit. Just wondering if it would matter on a white Polo GTI?

It's best to have a look around the Bodywork/Trim detailing forum at the threads and advice there.
    It really comes down to:
What do you do with your car
What you want to achieve with your protection/maintenance
How much time you want/have to dedicated to the maintenance.

For example, wax gives the deepest shine and the wettest look, but needs to be redone every few months. Sealants tend to look a bit more "plasticy" yet will last about 6 months (up to 12 months for consumer nano-sealants). Ventureshield (or other paint protection films) are a physical "contact" style wrapping (like you would put on your books in school), and is the only thing that will stop stone chips and scratches etc, but it doesn't have the mirror like shine that you can get from brand new paint and you can see the edges and other imperfections up close (within a metre). But then, the sealants and waxes won't stop scratches or stonechips so if you actually drive your car, then you'll get imperfections anyway...

    Check out the detailing forum

Picked up my new Polo with panoramic sunroof this week. Thought there might be some interest in pics.

I love it! Really does look good despite all the ribbing of got about it having a lingerie front lip.

    The glass looks nicely tinted.

What's been your experience with it so far? Aside from looks what's it like in terms of open/shut mechanism and wind noise when driving for example.

    Nice two pictures you've posted.
Unfortunately the link you provided is just to the 2nd photo. Can you provide the link to the album? Cheers.
