Those wheels don't do the Polo GTI much justice...it looks like VW just used whatever left overs from the MK5/MK6 Standard Golf GTI wheels.
The motorsports would look hot on it.

had a look on the German website for the Polo as their configure thingy was AWESOME the Detroit wheels look great on the GTI. get the denvers as their stock and then get a pro to have them sprayed. all the Detriots are really.
Picked up my new (well I bought it really for the wife) polo 77 TSI. Here are some pictures.
Took it for a run and (while not the Golf GTI I am awaiting on) was really impressed. I am actually allowed to drive it as my car until GTI arrives - beats a Corolla anyday which is the other option.

HOW THE HELL YOU SWING THAT ?
you get a new car now then a new car in 5 months lol you hiring it or something or paying the cost of how much it will drop in 6 month then you trade it in ?
OR you get this for wife and then gti is for you when you get it in and you keep both?
Spot on. We had been considering updating the wife's car and since mine was totalled decided to go ahead and update, but keep her old 2000 Corolla rather than trade in on the Polo. Will trade or sell the Corolla (only has 59k on the clock) when I get the GTI. We will become a fully VW driveway.
