Just got my new 77TSI Flash red with sportpak.
Waited no time at all, walked into dealer, who had just got 1 in on spec.
    Bought it then & there
Replaced my XC Barina, which was one of the best cars I have ever driven, but this Polo leaved it for dead
The engine bay is a work of art too

Okay, so I picked my Polo up yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled to bits.

The drive home was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time.....on my drive home yesterday I know I stuffed up a few gear changes and I can't wait til I've got that down pat and have a beautiful smooth ride.

My previous car didn't have remote window opening/closing so I must admit a stood there for about a minute just opening and closing the windows and sunroof using the remote.

I can't wait for the weekend when I can take her out for a decent drive.

The 3 month wait was definitely worth it

Great to hear Apples Actually checked a few times last night to see if you had posted an update (gal thing) hehe. Was your last car a manual as well? Reckon it won't take long to get your gear changes down pat.Love to know what your thoughts are on the sunroof, still to see one in the flesh but at least there have been some good pics on the forum, only thing I am a little unsure of is the visual appeal of the wind break deflector that pops up when sunroof is open? I understand it's there for a reason, just thought it “looked" a little strange? Always difficult when placing an order without being able to see one in the flesh first, will be nice to have a sunroof again this time though. 3 mths wait huh, that's pretty good.....funny how the weeks normally fly by for me, except for the Polo order, can't believe it's only been just over 4 weeks since order was placed......actually “feels like a couple of months at least" Hope there are gonna be some Forum members left who still have a long wait, gonna be a lonely time on here otherwise Pleased to hear all went well for you yesterday, thanks for the update and enjoy your new gem, ahh, lovely Melbourne day (not), no open sunroof today!

Thanks GTI mk6 - my Astra was also a manual but she drove differently and after 6 years, I'm just so used to driving her and as one would expect, changing gears was second nature.

The dark sunroof looks fantastic on the red car and from seeing photos of frostee's white GTI, you won't be disappointed with it. I wasn't overly keen on the wind shield either, but now that I've got the Polo, I don't give a flying hoot about it. I'm just so happy to have her.

The salesman couldn't believe how quickly I got her. I ordered her on 12 March so it's actually just under 4 months. For some reason I had 3 months on the brain. The first month killed me....after that the time flew.

LOL at least I had an excuse. Kinda hard to go on a cruise without a car
Well, I did have one but I don't think I would have been allowed to tag along in my Astra
