MY13 Polo Drive Away Price Help!

    Hi All

I purchased a MY13 Polo GTi (Candy White) with Bi-Xenon Headlights and Sunroof with a corporate plus program for $34,876.47 in Victoria.

The dealer failed to explain further eligibility requirements and I'm unable to get the 'corporate plus' discount they offered. This means the purchase price has jumped $1,000.

Is $35,876 for a MY13 with these extras reasonable? I feel like I have been totally ripped off given that I agreed to virtually sticker price because of the discount offered which has been rescinded, because the dealer was unclear.

I am entitled to terminate the contract but would prefer they revert the price to save the hassle of going elsewhere. As an aside, the increase in price has just been added to the dealer delivery fee. Seems a bit unorthodox... Time is of the essence.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I was told by 3 dealerships in Perth they cannot and will not do any sorts of discounts on the Polo GTI's (though more than happy to do deals on the Golf GTI's) so your $35,876 with Xenons and Sunroof is pretty good.

I paid $33,504 for my May 2011 ordered 3 door (which ended up costing me an extra $500 for the 5 door) which also includes the Xenons and a $700 upgrade for the RCD510 even though it ended up being included in the MY12.5 update that I received.

Edit: Under further checking with tinting, paint protection and Extended warranty (to 6 years) I paid $37,004.

    That's cheap!

Be sure you want the Polo though - they're definitely not trouble free.......

Happy with that, as they are so hard to find!

    ahhh...probably no Nav.
Ours is just the RCD510 (no nav)
Nav is RNS510 (as in N for Nav)

    That's not that cheap..

I took deliver of a MY13 Polo GTI (5 door) in candy white 2 days ago with Bi-xenon headlights and the panoramic sunroof.

I paid $34,200 drive away inc window tint (darkest legal), floor mats, MDI cable, full tank of petrol.

The price I paid was including an 11% corporate discount as the company I work for purchase lots of cars through VW.

I'm just sharing the price I paid buddy and the inclusions as it's listed in the purchase order...
I'm also from Melbourne so it'd be worth while for him to try another dealer if there is at least a $1000 saving in it for him
