    Hey guys!

Pretty new here, think its my first post, anyways, just wanted to report that i also have the rattle issue when accelerating hard at low revs in my MY12.5 2012 Polo GTI.

The rattle comes from around the center of the dash where it meets the windscreen.

I checked the area, its clean, nothing loose around the area.

I checked under the bonnet around the leaf catcher area, hoping it was a gum nut or something loose vibrating (lol i know), after reading this thread, i booked in some time with the dealership in two weeks time to get a warranty repair or at least a look.

Its inconsistent, its there most times but sometimes not, i fear when i take it to the dealership they'll say they found nothing.

You guys recommend i ask them to check the sound actuator if they find nothing?

I"m thinking they'll be pretty lazy and wont want to do much.

Mine is doing the same at 3-3.5K revs under moderate acceleration. It is the Actuator and it is a warranty issue. I believe they tighten the screws and put foam tape under the mount.

Got shown a repair process on the VW System.

Mine does it too, I thought it was my umbrella I store in the door or my ipod cable in the glovebox. Might take it back to VW and get them to fix it... I've been alleviating the problem by turning the stereo up more

Anyone here getting a ridiculously loud rattly from their rear right door? I have a 1.2 tsi and its getting so freaking annoying, took it to the dealer to get it looked at and they held the car for a good 4 days and didnt resolve the problem. They changed a heat shield, transmission mount, all fuel lines and the fuel pump and said it was fixed, clearly it wasnt. I had clearly told them to pull the rear right door apart and look inside to see what they could find but completely ignored it...

Is it a clicking type noise? I used to get that going over bumps or road reflectors. The door would also click when music with bass was up with reasonable volume. Drove me up the wall and I'd reach around and bang the door with my fist and sometimes it would go away. Over the last few thousand I haven't really experienced it though, fingers crossed it doesn't come back. Rattles drive me insane!

Try putting the rear seats down and go for a drive. I found the latches on my rear seats were loose and were driving me nuts every time I went over a bump. I just put some cloth tape over the latches and haven't had a problem since

Yeah this one definitely drives me crazy dude, when i had installed the coilovers the sound completely disappeared for a good 3-4 weeks and had figured that it was from the factory suspension, however i was wrong. As i started driving, it had come back... It sounds like a phone vibrating but extremely loud and wont go away, it usually comes on at about 1000 rpm right thru to 4000 rpm in first and second then it wont happen in the rest of the gears... :/

Yeah I'll definitely give a go to see if it goes away. If thats the case something can be worked out for sure. Thanks.
