    Had these replaced under warranty. Push for warranty. Just the leads.

    Car out of warranty but have pushed for "goodwill".....will know the outcome soon.

    Went and looked at mine and there is a small rub mark on No3 where it is against the pipe Put a cable tie around it to pull it away from the pipe Will see if its ok Had a Vauxhall Victor in 1970 that did that shorted out to the heater connector Looked like Sydney Harbour on New Years Eve in the dark

    old update to this.... replaced leads AGAIN for the same issue...

    today its started again only 3 months after replacing them with NGK leads... I had cable tied the lead TO the fuel pipe to stop it rubbing but had put a ****load of electrical tape around it... didnt seem to work.

    hoepfully the new lead (just ordering from VW) will be better. and ill make sure its not near the fuel pipe (if thats even possible)
