    Milltek TBE vs HP TBE

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm looking at a Milltek TBE as someone is selling them un used in box on the forum, but a stage 2 tune costs $250 if purchased separate from the exhaust.

Whereas it's $2200 for the HP TBE + tune.

    Opinions?

Who's selling the Miltek TBE's and how much? My personal preference would be the Miltek just for the larger diameter pipes so if the price works out about the same thats the way i'd go.

    Milltek TBE vs HP TBE

FYI the HP exhaust ISNT made of stainless steel, and while im sure its a nice exhaust - thats alot of coin for a non stainless exhaust.

The Milltek's are nicely made and full stainless steel = look better and no rust. A friend has a Milltek system on his Golf R and it sounds great. Only thing i dont like about the Milltek exhausts (and quite a few other exhaust companies also use this method) are the "slip fit" joins which look a bit messy and always leak.

Another brand to consider is Jetex. http://www.jetex.co.uk/website/jetex...olo6r14tsi.php
