    Matte Black 6R GTI

    hi folks..
saw couple of photos of Scirocco and Audis wrapped in carbon fibre..i think the POLO 6R will look really great in matte finish..has anybody thought of doing this?

any idea where to go in Melbourne for this and how much roughly it would cost?

    thanks

Depending on where you're located, you can go to either Grafico in North Melbourne or CarX in Clayton.

I would say budget approximately $4k for a full car wrap. Prices will vary depend on color and materials.

I actually have a few idea's for mine atm, full wrap.
As said above you'll need atleast $3k for a decent job unless you want to tackle the job yourself (i wouldn't suggest it unless you've atleast taken a couple of advanced vinyl application classes).
If you have any questions feel free to ask (im in the business )

Matte on any car is risky. Some cars it work, some it dont.
A car must have a specific stance or look to it. I did this render recently, to see what it might look like:

Matte black vinyl wrap usually works on most cars.

Matte grey metallic can be touch and go. This Scirocco pulled it off:

I have just purchased a Polo 6R and will be wrapping it in a matte colour (exact hue still be to be decided).

If you were to do it, I would say you need something shiny to set it off (i.e. detroit style wheels)

Hey Mike what are your thoughts on the rear bumper where the number plate sits? Looks to be too much of an angle to try and get the vinyl to conform to on the Polo GTI. Would you do a cut and drop on that section?

I am with you on this ..

Other option is black wheels as well maybe if you wanted to change it and go all steal. But i dont know the Polo ?! ..

The Scirocco Carbon Demon (Mike) did looks phenomenal though.. recommend his work to anyone that is considering!

I'll be extremely interested to see what that looks like! I've seen the Jag you guys did driving about and it look wicked.
