In Perth where there's more taxes to pay on new cars (nice huh) we picked up the car drive away for $24k, that's with the comfort pack, rear parking sensors and floor mats. $1300 more for RNS-510 and 730c bluetooth installed by me so a total of $25300.

I would consider the Honda Jazz.

I recently drove one fot the first time, and was VERY impressed with it.

A massive improvement over the previous Polo, but then so is the new Polo.

For reliability,I would also pop into your local Toyota dealership, and test drive a Corolla.

You lost me there, I can't believe how much they're asking for them these days and how little you get. They make an original Excel look like a quality item!

if she is an accountant, then the only thing u need to know is toyota or honda. arguably the best for reliability and much cheaper to run than a vw.

the jazz is good (i convinced my mate to get one, after going around, test driving cars with him), but the interior finish is pretty crap house. i mean..... cut up double-mesh basketball jerseys lining the door trim? lol.

and yet, then again, ALL THREE rear head rests push down flat, so that rearward visibility is... well, the best in its class.

when i daydream, i DO think of getting a jazz as a daily driver.... they're a great car.

but, to me, brand loyalty notwithstanding, i'd go a new polo, if we werent pinching hundreds of dollars... the interior refinement, and that 1.2 tsi...... they're gold. oh.... and the heavy, solid ''thud'' you get from closing the door of a micro VW.

I like the Jazz as well but the 1.3L Jazz has no go whatsoever which leaves only the 1.5L Jazz as a viable choice. And the difference in price between the 1.5L Jazz and a similar spec Polo isn't that great...so I'd go with the Polo too.

Have a look on here for discounts on new cars
New car prices, sales, reviews - discount pricing on new cars models - Discount New Cars

Honda Jazz is still without ESP until 2011 models I think. Anyone who lets a relative buy a new car WITHOUT ESP has rocks in their head.
