    Lower Front Grill Replacement

    Hi Guys,

My friend backed into my TSI yesterday and destroyed my lower front grill but luckily he somehow managed to avoid any other body damage. I am looking for the best/cheapest option to get it replaced. I have seen a few on ebay but not sure of the quality and/or fitting requirements.

    Would appreciate feedback.

    Thanks in advance,

    Fun

Just wondering what part(s) were damaged? I have a spare lower front grill and the two sides where the foglights go (from a 77TSI with OUT the sports pack)

There is only one rule to lower grills: GTI grill does not fit on non-GTI and vice versa. Other than that it is pretty easy to replace.
It is held on by a couple of little hooks and should be able to be pulled out with some healthy force applied.

Do you have a GTI? IF not I would go for the highline grill because it has the chrome trim

Its just the grill that is damaged surprisingly (77TSI with sportspack)

Tuning Fanatics on Ebay are selling the highline grill for $115US + $48 postage looks quite good with the chrome trim.

Have also found it cheaper here but it looks slightly different across the top of the grill $79US + postage
