I'd just top it up with water, and keep an eye on it, until the service.
Have them take a closer a look at it, and get it pressure-tested.
I'm out of town for a while over the holidays and today when checking the oil I noticed the coolant level is about 1cm below the minimum level on my 2015 polo GTI. The warning light also came on for a few minutes but has now gone.
The car is booked in for its 30,000km service in about 3 weeks time. I went to Supercheap auto and saw a pre-mixed bottle of Nulon coolant, that was the only brand they had.
Should I be topping this up or wait until the service is due at VW in a few weeks and is this brand suitable for the car?
Is it unusual for such a fairly new car to be low on coolant??

My mechanic observed that the radiator was wet at the bottom. Coolant level was only very slightly down. Have it booked for an inspection by VW.

So I called VW and they suggested just top
It up with demineralisd water. I topped it up to the min level, after getting home after about a 400km drive it has dropped again about a millimetre or two below the min level.
I will have to get them to check it out at the 30k service in a couple of weeks
It does fluctuate a bit, depending on the temperature.
Put it at the MAX mark. It will vent any excess coolant anyway.
The car is under warranty, so I'd imagine there would be no charge. Unless of course they find that the problem is not warrantable, such as a stick through the radiator.
