Think they are about $200 each retail.

The tyre is unable to have the chemical/pin plug installed?

But yeah, there is a member here who is a VW dealer in Canberra, see if has been active recently and pm him?

Either that or call your local VW centre.

Puncture is in side wall of tyre so its gooone...tried the VW dealers in Canberra and NSW, even ebay etc.- no luck.

and Dunlop directly, i know there is a Dunlop distributor/installer in Sydney So check their website. Ring them up?

O man I'm so sorry to hear that. While we are on this topic, I just want to add that I recently did 7000 km of road trip to Tasmania and back (from Brisbane). Had absolutely no problems until the day after I got back. 5 minute drive to the local supermarket in the CBD, on a major road traveled by thousands of vehicles a day... puncture. Good luck finding the rubber.

Busted a tyre the other week...so im looking for a Dunlop Sport Maxx 215/40/17 rubber- checked with every tyre dealer across the country and they advised no ETA till at least Mar/Apr (WTF??!)

Car is new and i wanna keep the same tyres on...if any of you know or have the above rubber for sale please PM me.

Buy something different. Those sport maxx are ****, IMO. I'm trying desperately to wear mine out so I gan get something grippy.
