    LED Parkers?

Are there any replacement led parkers available for polo gti that don't give the bulb warning?

I have tried several canbus friendly replacements to no avail.

Can I disable the bulb warning through vcds?

Dont waste money on ebay jobbies - they are basically all junk.

Bold Sport have good quality LED bulbs (several versions of T10) and they do not give you an error.

LED T10's arrived from Bold Sport. Fit perfectly, no bulb error!

Mardi: I recently posted a table of the entire set of functions (all 24 bytes) for the central electronics (BCM -address 09) on the VCDS tread for the Polo 6R. From the table, it seems that the "lamp Diagnostics" functions can be found in Bytes 16 & 19. I've never played with these bytes, but logic dictates that these are the functions that control bulb warnings. Others here might know more about the lamp diagnostic function.
It's interesting that no "lamp diagnostics" for any lights have been activated on my car (77TSI my14) but this may not be the same for other vehicles

Anyhow, here is a screen shot of byte 19 which has the Tail lights (i.e. Parkers)- see bit 6. It might be worth checking your car to assertain if this bit is enabled

Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is on-line, in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the expertise of the wider forum! Thank you.

It's worth noting that VCDS sometimes incorrectly identifies the status of a given byte - as such on my 2011 polo, bulb checking is on for brake lights and indicators (and this is shown as an error on the dash when they are removed) but VCDS states it's not activated. When I change the bit to activate it - it is infact disabling it.

It's best just to play around with it

After fitment, they are close to the main beam. Are they likely to suffer from the heat?
