I did the same. best $25 ever spent. I also understand the arm rests aren't actually leather anyway?

Damn, I seriously can't find anything anywhere. eBay doesn't seem to have a lid that fits the original armrest, only retrofit ones. Spare parts at VW Barloworld has the lid but it's $193!!

I might wait 5,000km and see if VW will by some miracle throw it in with a service or replace it under warranty or something.
