Forget Petrol - how much is your time worth?
1hr vs 8-10 hours? How much work/personal time can you fit in to that.
I am just wondering...cos i am a tight arse.....at the moment....i am calculating that it would be cheaper to drive then to get on a plane....i just wondered if that was true or not

MY12.5 Candy White 5 door Polo GTI. Upgrades/Mods = RNS510 H LED, RVC camera, Auto Lights Dash Sound Actuator GTI button, Gavs Footrest(!)
WIP = Miltek Turboback Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, Red Stuff brake pads (Nov '13)
If I was moving lots of stuff, I might drive.
Not sure if it's comparable but I did the Sydney to Melbourne trip in our Golf 118TSI. Made it there on one tank of BP ultimate with 1/4 tank left at our destination. averaged 6.2l/100km
Polo 6R GTI - Candy White | MY12.5 | 5 dr | Weitec Hicon GT | OZ Ultraleggera | SPOC - 1st Four
Ummmm i got 790 with Shell 98 that was a mixture of highway/city driving.

MY16 Touareg 4.2Lt V8 TDI/Pure White LED lightbox/REDARC Brake Controller/ Racechip/iDrive Throttle controller
2008 GOLF .:R32/5DR DBPE DSG/SUNROOF/RNS510/PRIVACY TINT/CONTI SC3s/MILLTEK CATBACK NON-RES/9W2 BT/"MYR-032"
I know the airplane ride is amazing for time!....but i don't really have $300 to drop on a plane ticket right now.....if i can get there and back on 2 tanks.....thats $100....can't really complain.
It's still a little bit better than the 18 hours door to door. Just the money i have my thoughts on....end of the day i just wanna go out with my friends and get drunk
