How do I change the main display info

    Hi all.

We picked up a 2015 66TSI yesterday and I'm wondering if it it possible to change what is displayed in the centre screen of the instrument cluster, above the digital fuel gauge. Currently the outside temperature is displayed, but that seems a bit weird to just have that as the main info in the display. I have searched the owners manual, but cant work out (on my particular car) how to potentially change that info. It would make more sense to have the speed shown digitally, that the outside temp. I have (hopefully) added pics of the controls to show you what I'm working with...
    Thanks!
    Steve

I know mine is a different model but for my Polo there is a rocker switch on the end of the windscreen wiper stalk that scrolls the display up or down.

    Thanks Sword_Dude.
Yeah , they make mention of that in the owners manual, but ours doesn't have that rocker switch, or the buttons on the steering wheel...

THere's no button on the end of the wiper stalk. I have tried the two buttons and they don't seem to be attached to the top of the screen, only the bottom....

No, no luck. I'm beginning to suspect that it is just set that way, and can't be changed... It does seem very weird that VW would think that the most important info to put right in the middle of the display, in very large numbers, would be the outside temperature. Surely a digital speedo would be a better thing to display....

It will probably depend on whether its a poverty pack a Comfortline or a Highline as to what it has Our 2010 is a Comfortline but without any upgrades
