If you're going to get scuff plates...I recommend to go with Worthersee scuff plates...
Polo 2011 Worthersee Edition Door Sills Scuff Plates for 10+ Volkswagen Polo 6R | eBay
thanks guys, yeh it makes sense getting bigger wheels will naturally make the gap look smaller. does it make the ride much firmer than stock ? i dont want a rock hard ride, being a daily and all
had a look at oriental parts, they had 2 x fog light kits
LED POWERED FRONT FOG LIGHT KIT - POLO 6R
LED Powered Front Fog Light Kit - Polo 6R - Oriental Parts
and
FRONT FOG LIGHT KIT - POLO 6R
Front Fog Light Kit - Polo 6R - Oriental Parts
im assuming the 2nd one is the regular kit, and the 1st one is some aftermarket ricey kit ?
also another option which i want, for which the dealer wanted something stupid ($595) is the door sill kit. oriental parts have a kit, doesnt look genuine, but still nice enough (genuine ones on the vw website show the polo log being in the corner as opposed to in the middle)
OEM STAINLESS STEEL DOOR SILL SCUFF PLATE - POLO 6R
OEM Stainless Steel Door Sill Scuff Plate - Polo 6R - Oriental Parts
also saw that some people did the dna tune, going from 77kw > 100kw. But it is a $900 tune, not sure if its worth doing, cost vs benefit. any noticible difference ?

Yeh i saw them, not too sure exactly what "Worthersee" is, being new to the Euro scene im still learning
Looks like a tuning company of sorts, i think.
Hell yeah the sports pack is very good value, I would have got it at purchase but it was another 5 months wait (on top of the 3 months I waited for my standard car) and when you are waiting for your first car to arrive you get anxious.
I have the standard suspension and when putting it right next to a car with the sports suspension you can't even tell the difference, still a massive gap :p. Definitely needs to go down 20mm-25mm but only on the back. The front is perfectly fine with the standard setup though, any lower and I would rip of my bumper, I'm already scraping it on everything now at the standard height.
just bought the worthersee sill plates
have a contact of a good window tinter, will be getting some dark tints, not so dark thats its obvious its below 30% thought, but dark nontheless
also will start looking into getting the rims in black, saw the below pic from another member on this forum, i think it looks awesome
ive got the DNA tune mate, its $750 not $900. defiantly worth it
Im not sure the reasoning behind getting a 2nd hand bumper for a new car ? If its in regards to the foggies, their just a (fairly) straightforward bolt in\on mod
Im wanting to keep the 15"s because they offer a softer ride, im over the whole low profile\rough ride, thats what the supra is for :p
I'm hearing ya. With the lip spoiler everything is a problem. My rollover kerb driveway is a problem at any more than a sideways snail pace. I even had difficulty with a multistory carpark. Those concrete car park bumper things are a definite no go. I just dont park within 1 metre of anything and choose my servo based on approach angle not price. Paranoid? Much, but I'd order it again.
