Hi all
I'm from Adelaide, 77TSI vw polo popper grey. Picked up 4 weeks ago.
I've had 3 new cars in 3 years. Lets hope this one works out.
Main reason to buy a vw: Awesome fuel economy for my long kms. so much superior to other more girly small cars-yuck. Something a bit more unique, and it's extra zippy up the hills. Husband would not let me get the sports pack (boo!) but i've bought the fog lights after market and plan on getting a spoiler and down the track sneak in some nicer/larger alloys.
So far loving it! Only one thing i don't like is the rear lights, does anyone else think they look a bit buggy?

I think that Polo looks nice from any angle.

Hi, welcome to the show. New at this myself but getting Into the forum quickly.

I ordered the 77 last month in pepper with the sports and comfort pack. The car is for my wife around town so could not really justify the extra cost for the GTI.

She also has a thing for the fogs hence the sports pack.

I was following a 12.5 home from work last week in the dark and have to say the lights are smick. Love the inset L shapes when they are lit. They also look simple and don't try to hard like most other small cars.

Can't wait to pick our car up in a couple months.

Keep posting on living with the car day to day.

I'm jealous of your sports pack

She will love the car, they just drive so well. When we test drove they only had a manual so was a bit hesitant about buying DSG, I've never had an auto before but it's really great. I bought a good dash mat on flea bay , definitely helps with the windscreen reflection from the dash- high recommend getting one. All the best for the new car!

Manual is the way I went a my wife is a bit if a control freak. Likes to control the gear change without "all that techno and double clutch stuff".

Currently drives 2007 Fiesta Zetec which is a great handling car, but only two doors, hence the upgrade.

Where did you pick up the dash matt and how much if you don't mind sharing?
